Owen M. Migdal is an associate attorney at Zirkin and Schmerling Law. Owen’s primary areas of practice are personal injury, car accidents, and dog bites. 

Owen was the youngest attorney ever barred in the State of Maryland. He grew up in Frederick, Maryland and graduated from Middletown High School in 2018. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah on scholarship. Owen graduated from the University of Utah at 19 years old after less than two years of study. After college, Owen immediately attended Case Western Reserve University School of Law on scholarship, where he earned his Juris Doctorate at 22 years old. Owen became the youngest person on record to argue a case in front of the highest appeals court in any state when he argued against the Office of the Vermont Attorney General in front of the Vermont Supreme Court in 2023.

Owen started his legal career at the Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he tried a significant number of bench trials as a novice Assistant State’s Attorney. Owen dedicated a lot of his time to Veterans Court where he represented Anne Arundel County. He attended the ALL RISE annual conference on addiction, mental health, and justice reform funded by Maryland United Way in order to further his work as an advocate for veterans. Owen prosecuted thousands of cases, including DUI/DWI, domestic violence, thefts, assaults, child abuse, and incarcerable traffic cases.

Owen is an avid Washington Capitals and Baltimore Orioles fan. You can catch him at the Dippin’ Dots or Rita’s Italian Ice booths at Capital One Arena or Camden Yards year-round. He also enjoys college basketball, football, lacrosse, and baseball.
