35 Year Old Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Car in South Baltimore

Tragedies on the streets of Baltimore have been all too common in recent years, and unfortunately, another life was lost on Tuesday morning after a 35-year-old man was struck by a car. The incident occurred in the Curtis Bay neighborhood, and police were called to the scene around 5:15 a.m. By the time they arrived, the victim had been moved to Spruce Street, but they quickly ascertained that the collision had taken place on Curtis Avenue. 

Thankfully the driver of the vehicle stayed at the site of the accident. The collision left the victim fighting for his life and although he was rushed to Shock Trauma, he unfortunately passed away around 4:30 pm the next day despite all the efforts made by medical personnel. 

Authorities in Baltimore have handed over their findings to the Accident Investigation Unit under the Baltimore Police Department. The unit is known for its comprehensive investigations, and is expected to leave no stone unturned in this case. The crash has left the community in mourning, and the unit’s work will be crucial in shedding light on the circumstances that led to this sad event. It is hoped that the authorities will get to the bottom of what happened, and provide some closure for the family and friends of the victim. This event, like many others, highlights the importance of being cautious and vigilant while on the road to ensure everyone’s safety.
