Incident Information

A 14-year-old girl was injured in a motorcycle crash that occurred Monday afternoon in Anne Arundel County.

The accident took place around 4:20 p.m. at the intersection of Hammonds Ferry Road and Ardmore Road, involving a motorcycle and a sedan. According to police, a 2002 Harley Davidson Fatboy collided with the side of a 2023 Toyota Camry as the car was making a left turn.

The motorcycle’s driver, a 34-year-old man, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Shock Trauma. The 14-year-old passenger’s injuries were reported as non-life-threatening. Both riders were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.

The driver of the Toyota, a 75-year-old woman, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The Traffic Safety Section is currently investigating the incident.
