Dodge Charger and Yamaha Motorcycle Crash Resulting in Death and Injuries

On July 4, 2024, at 9:11 p.m., emergency responders attended to a crash on northbound Route 4 near Talbot Road involving a motorcycle. Upon arrival, crews found a Dodge Charger and a Yamaha motorcycle had collided.
Noah Allen Lee, 23, of Dunkirk, Md., who was driving the Yamaha motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene by Fire Department personnel. Ronald Avery Weeks, Sr., 73, and Sharon Smith Weeks, 57, both from Upper Marlboro, Md., were in the Dodge Charger. They were assessed by EMS at the scene and transported to CalvertHealth Medical Center with minor injuries.
Investigations indicate that the 2015 Dodge Charger was traveling northbound on Route 4 when the driver pulled over and attempted a left U-turn onto southbound Route 4. Simultaneously, a 2015 Yamaha motorcycle was also heading northbound. During the U-turn, the Dodge Charger moved into the path of the Yamaha motorcycle, resulting in the collision.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department Traffic Safety Section is currently investigating the crash.
