Two people tragically lost their lives in a horrific accident on Interstate 83 in Timonium on Friday night. According to Maryland State Police, troopers came upon the crash a little before 2:40 am Saturday morning and saw that the car was already engulfed in flames upon their arrival. Reports indicate that the white 2015 Kia Optima had veered off of the highway to the right shoulder, where it struck a tractor-trailer truck that wasn’t hauling a trailer at the time. The two passengers of the vehicle were pronounced dead on the scene. Their identities are still unknown pending notification of any associates or relatives of theirs.
