At around 9:00 p.m., emergency responders rushed to a severe motor vehicle collision that left one person dead and two others with severe injuries. The accident involved two vehicles, a 2019 Ford Escape and a 2013 Ford Fiesta. The preliminary investigation revealed that the Ford Escape was traveling southbound on Solomons Island Road when it suddenly crossed the centerline and collided with the northbound Ford Fiesta striking it head on.

The devastating accident resulted in the loss of 68-year-old Stephen Lee Horodyski. Authorities identified him as the driver of a Ford Fiesta that was involved in the collision. It’s crucial to determine the cause of this devastating crash, and we can only hope that the investigations will provide answers for the victim’s loved ones.
