A Vehicle Struck a Bicycle Resulting in Death

Ocean City Police are currently investigating a fatal collision between a vehicle and an e-bike. The incident occurred at approximately 2:06 p.m. on Sunday when a bicyclist was traveling southbound in the bike lanes on St. Louis Avenue. The cyclist was struck by a vehicle making a right turn from St. Louis Avenue onto 14th Street, heading west.
The bicyclist, identified as 34-year-old Stephanie Holston, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of Ocean City EMS personnel to save her life.
The Ocean City Traffic Safety Unit is conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the accident. Authorities have confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the collision.
